A mug attributed to Crescent Potteries — marked "A37" on the base, matching the same "letter and number" marking pattern seen on our confirmed Crescent pieces, though "Crescent" itself isn't spelled out on this particular mark.

Crescent Potteries was established in 1952 in Krugersdorp, with master potter Albrecht Schließler ("Mr. Crescent") designing over a hundred different items during his time there.

A dynamic sgraffito figure carrying a staff or spear, carved through dark slip against a sunburst motif — the same striking technique and palette as our other Crescent pieces.
