A blue and white lidded ginger jar in the classic Ming style — dense cobalt blue ground with hand-painted white foliage and leaf motifs, underglaze decoration.
This is a decorative reproduction rather than an antique piece — the maker's own label describes it as "a replica of an early Ming Dynasty (circa 1568-1644) Imperial Court artifact," hand painted underglaze and wood-fired in the traditional manner, hand crafted in China. Listed honestly as such.
