Blue & White Collector's Plate "De Metselaar" (The Bricklayer) — De Kruik Delftware, Traditional Dutch Tradesmen Series No. 1436, 16cm

A collector's display plate from the "Traditional Dutch Tradesmen" series by De Kruik Delftware, Holland. The centre scene, titled "De Metselaar" (The Bricklayer), depicts a mason laying brick at a garden wall while a companion carries a child on his shoulders in the background, with a gabled townhouse and tree-lined water beyond. Bordered by the same pansy-and-scroll band as the companion "Wood Turner" plate.

Backstamped with the De Kruik crest and descriptive text: "The bricklayer works with precision to build homes to last for future generations." Marked Serie No. 1436.

Measures 16cm. No chips or cracks — excellent condition.
