A collector's display plate from the "Traditional Dutch Tradesmen" series by De Kruik Delftware, Holland. The centre scene, titled "De Houtdraaier" (The Wood Turner), depicts a craftsman at his lathe shaping table and chair legs, with a village street scene beyond — a fallen basket of wood shavings adds narrative detail in the foreground. Bordered by a hand-finished band of pansies and scrolling foliage in cobalt blue.

Backstamped with the De Kruik crest and descriptive text: "The turner plies his lathe to make beautiful table and chair legs with skill and a love for fine wood." Marked Serie No. 1475.

Measures 16cm. No chips or cracks — excellent condition.
