We restore with restraint
Every piece that leaves Atomica Vintage is either fully restored or thoroughly cleaned and polished by hand — and we always tell you which, plainly, in the listing. Where a piece genuinely needs work, we do it properly. Where it's already sound, we leave it alone rather than over-restoring away the character that made it worth keeping in the first place.

Every piece has a story — we go find it
We don't just list what something is. Where we can, we dig into where it actually came from — the factory, the designer, the household it sat in for decades. You'll find that history in each piece's Backstory. A chair is furniture. A chair that once sat in a mining engineer's Klerksdorp office is something else entirely.
Buying vintage is buying sustainably
Every piece we sell is one that didn't go to landfill, wasn't manufactured new, and won't need replacing again for decades. That's not a marketing angle we bolted on afterward — it's just what buying something already built to last actually means.
