Every piece that leaves Atomica Vintage has been properly cared for before it's listed. Where a piece needed real work, we fully restore it. Where it simply needed care, it's been thoroughly cleaned and polished by hand. Every listing states plainly which of the two applies, so you know exactly what you're getting — no piece goes out dusty, sticky, or exactly as it was found.
Condition, as described
Every piece we list includes an honest, detailed condition report in its Backstory — era, materials, restoration history, and any wear or imperfections. We photograph flaws as carefully as we photograph highlights. If a piece arrives and doesn't match what was described, we'll make it right: a full refund or replacement, no argument.
Before it ships
For furniture and larger pieces, we photograph the packing process itself — how your piece is wrapped, padded, and secured — and send those photos to you before dispatch. You'll know exactly how your piece is protected before it ever leaves Klerksdorp.
White Glove Delivery
For higher-value or fragile pieces, choose White Glove Delivery at checkout. Your piece is professionally wrapped, crated where needed, and handled by specialist furniture couriers — the same standard used by leading vintage design marketplaces internationally.
If something goes wrong
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery if your piece arrives damaged or not as described, with photos. We work directly with our courier partners to resolve damage claims, and we stand behind every piece we sell — this is a small, personally-run shop, not an anonymous marketplace.
